The Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/70-Tr is a high-capacity solar charge controller designed for larger off-grid electrical systems with increased solar generation requirements. Using advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology, it continuously optimises energy harvest from solar panels to maximise charging efficiency and battery performance throughout the day. Capable of delivering up to 70A of charging current, it is well suited to larger LiFePO4 battery banks and higher-output solar arrays commonly found in premium campervans, motorhomes, expedition vehicles and off-grid installations. Built-in Bluetooth connectivity provides easy setup, monitoring and firmware updates through the VictronConnect app, allowing users to view real-time charging performance and system status from a smartphone or tablet.
